About the role

Reporting to the GM, you are a hands-on and customer service centric individual with proven success managing a highly functional service delivery team.

The role would suit a business or commerce graduate with previous operational experience in a medium to large business, keen to lend their expertise to support the company in creating the structure to transform into a large, agile and sustainable business. You’ll be influential in the success of the business at a senior manager level, whilst being close to the day-to-day operations and service delivery of the business. Be ready to engage and contribute to the dynamic and fast paced management team, that have amazing drive and passion. You’ll have an entrepreneurial spirit and value team work and getting results.

You love developing effective systems, processes and controls to maximise operational efficiency. You achieve this by working collaboratively with others and take satisfaction from developing people as part of the process.
Whilst you bring stability and structure, you do so comfortably in a constantly evolving and dynamic landscape. You are at ease with change, and embrace it as a natural part of constant growth.
You are flexible and open to exploring new ideas and enjoy interacting with, contacting, and building successful relationships with people!
Excellent time management and attention to detail are part of your make-up, as much as the ability to identify and resolve problems. Whilst you value quality over quantity, you’re able to make balanced judgments and take appropriate actions quickly.

What you will do

The Operations Manager will be responsible for:

Ensuring premier service delivery throughout the various channels of the business - including the oversight, development and implementation of efficient systems, processes and procedures.
Ensuring day-to-day operations of the business run effectively and without obstacles;
Developing and challenging your team for on-going improvement
Working closely with leadership to deliver on operational budgets, forecasts and performance
Monitoring, analysing and reporting operational performance
Accountable for the company’s service quality toward consumers, professional and commercial partners.
Ensuring logistics and supply chain management are running efficiently

Qualifications and Capability :

Business or commerce graduate with previous experience in operational management within a medium to large business.
Previous experience in the Sleep Industry with an ability to quickly establish professional relationships with suppliers, business partners and key industry stakeholders.
Demonstrated commercial acumen;
Ability to provide leadership and professional development to junior staff;
Ability to work with a diversity of people across all organisational levels and multiple values driven management practices as well as the personal modelling of these values and principles to all staff.
